TekMonki Dot Com is a means to expend and share my creative energy. Particularly my foremost passion music, but as I like to mess about with web design stuff as a bit of an aside - keep the mind learning and all that - seems I’ve gone off on a bit of a tangent lately. I’ve spent the past month or two driving everyone I know (and don’t know) nuts while learning hacking my way around PHP and CSS and saying:

“how do I?” “but what about?” “how does that look?” “now?” “what about now?” “do you like that?” ” . . that’s right, I know you do!”.

I think I’ve finally gotten to that plateau though and can get away with doing little edits here and there as time allows and get back to some music making. (yeah, right). :unsure:

If you hang out long enough I’m sure you’ll come to find a new design, or a little tweak here and a little nudge there, probably with each new visit. I’m sure you’ll come across what appears to be your browser throwing up now and again as well - if so I’m probably working on something at that point and time. Get a towel. It will pass.

If you’re using Firefox, you’re most likely seeing this site as it was designed and intended to be viewed, and you should be rewarded for your good taste. (Don’t look at me.) I never took much stock in the complaints lobbed against the massive wall that is Internet Explorer as it’s the browser that the majority of the world uses, but once you start tinkering around under the hood you start to see where and why those complaints come from. It likes to break design for breakfast. Swear to god. Not to mention all of the security flaws that, well, you’ve read the news I’m sure. If you happen to be reading this in Internet Explorer right now, I’m sure you’ve found something that’s broken already (hey, we can’t all be flash designers :whatever:), might I make a suggestion? Check this out.

Anyway. I’m sure you’ve noticed the brilliant menu. As I said above, TekMonki is primarily about music, so I might start there if I were you. And just because I’m a major f*ing dweeb, I set it up so that you can see what I’m most likely listening to as you’re reading - yes, like right now. You can also click the artist/song and go shop for it. Sorry, no freebies though.

P.s. If you find visual or other site snafu’s, don’t hesitate to post them here (”what you think?” link right down there). I do read the comments posted.
